Spinal Cord Injury SCI Center

The mission of the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Center is to promote the health, independence, quality of life, and productivity of Veterans with spinal cord injuries and disorders (SCI/D) throughout their lives.

In support of our mission we provide the full continuum of care to Veterans and Active Duty Service Members with a spinal cord injury or disorder including rehabilitation, acute care, and sustaining care  through a comprehensive multidisciplinary model.  Our sustaining care services for Veterans with SCI include primary care, preventive care, ongoing rehabilitation needs, medical management, outpatient care, home care, and long term care. The Boston SCI Center is the hub site covering all six New England states as part of the SCI hub and spoke network within VISN1.
