Kinesiotherapy

Kinesiotherapy involves an evaluation and a program of exercise therapy and training to help improve a Man with a prosthetic leg walking with the assistance of a balance barpatient's strength, endurance and mobility.

Kinesiotherapists work to help patients reach their highest physical abilities.

In addition to rehabilitation of general rehab patients, there are numerous other ways that kinesiotherapists are involved at VA Boston.

Some of our programs and activities:

 - polytrauma rehab
 - rehab for patients with spinal cord injuries 
 - extended care, transitional care, and geriatric rehab at the Community Living   Center
 - aquatic therapy
 - wheelchair clinics
 - fitness/cardiac exercise
 - driver training
