VA Boston Healthcare System

Sensory & Physical Rehabilitation

In general, our professionals work with patients who:

  • need help recovering from injury or weakness
  • have conditions that would benefit from manual therapy, exercise, or other activity
  • need special aids or medical equipment to assist them in living as independently as possible

In addition, VA Boston is home to one of the twenty-one Polytrauma Network Sites in the country. We provide long-term rehabilitation to veterans who have suffered multiple severe injuries (including brain injury). Read more about the Boston Polytrauma Network Site.
