About PTSD 

PTSD can occur following exposure to a violent or life-threatening event to yourself or someone you care about.   

Common symptoms of PTSD:

  • reexperiencing of the event in some way, either when you are asleep or awake 
  • anxiety
  • anger
  • feeling numb
  • difficulty sleeping

We can offer an evaluation to determine if you are suffering from PTSD. We can also help determine the best treatment for you.  There are many effective treatments to help with your recovery.
