The VA Boston Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at the VA Boston Healthcare System is organized into two separate areas: the substantive traditional practice of Clinical Psychology and the specialty practice of Clinical Neuropsychology. Both programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association. Our next accreditation site visit will be in 2015.
Within the Clinical Psychology Training Program, we offer training in nine areas of emphasis (“tracks”). For the 2014-2015 training year, we will be recruiting 11 postdoctoral fellows in the below tracks:
• Behavioral Medicine
• Dual Diagnosis
• General Mental Health
• Interprofessional Mental Health Care
• Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Health Care
• Posttraumatic Stress Disorder
• Post-Deployment Readjustment and Substance Abuse, and
• Substance Abuse Treatment Program
Within the Clinical Neuropsychology Training Program, we offer broad neuropsychology training. For the 2014-2016 training year (please note the two year training program), we will be recruiting one postdoctoral fellow.
The Postdoctoral Fellowship Program seeks candidates from APA-accredited, scientist-practitioner and clinical science programs in clinical and counseling psychology.
