Thank you for your interest in the VA Boston Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program!

The VA Boston Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at the VA Boston Healthcare System is organized into two separate areas: the substantive traditional practice of Clinical Psychology and the specialty practice of Clinical Neuropsychology.  Both programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association.  Our next accreditation site visit will be in 2015.

Within the Clinical Psychology Training Program, we offer training in nine areas of emphasis (“tracks”).  For the 2015-2016 training year, we will be recruiting 12 postdoctoral fellows in the below tracks:

• Behavioral Medicine
• Dual Diagnosis
• General Mental Health
• Geropsychology
• Interprofessional Mental Health Care
• Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Health Care
• Posttraumatic Stress Disorder
• Post-Deployment Readjustment and Substance Use, and
• Substance Abuse Treatment Program

Within the Clinical Neuropsychology Training Program, we offer broad neuropsychology training.  For the 2015-2017 training year (please note the two year training program), we will be recruiting one postdoctoral fellow.

We are pleased to announce that the Fellowship Program recently received funding for an additional fellow within Behavioral Medicine. This additional funding will allow for more in-depth training in existing clinical contexts (e.g., Sleep, Pain, Bariatrics), as well as new clinical settings. New training settings include Primary Care (Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, as well as Primary Care Mental Health Integration) and Psychosocial Oncology.
