Dorchester Community Based Outpatient Clinic

The VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Dorchester is located on the second floor of the Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center. The clinic, designed to serve those veterans living in the Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan neighborhoods, is the result of a successful collaboration between VA and the private sector. Serviced by the MBTA's number 28 bus, the clinic is conveniently located on Blue Hill Avenue, across from Franklin Field.

  • Veterans can receive primary medical care closer to home and don't have to travel to one of the three main campuses.
  • Veterans will still be eligible for specialty outpatient care, inpatient care and all other entitlements through the VA Boston Healthcare System.

Directions

From I93: Take Mass Ave. Exit to Melnea Cass Blvd.; Follow Melnea Cass Blvd. to Hampden Street, take a left on to Hampden Street. Follow Hampden Street which becomes Dudley Street. Follow Dudley Street to Blue Hill Avenue and take a slight right onto Blue Hill Avenue. Follow Blue Hill Avenue to 895, which is at the corner of Harvard Street and Blue Hill Avenue. The clinic is on the 2nd floor of the Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center.
