About the Program
The West Roxbury campus of The VA Boston Healthcare System has a nationally recognized Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder Program, which currently operates under CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
The Program has been one of the premier, pioneering centers in the field of Spinal Cord Medicine, with over fifty years of experience and continuous service. It is staffed with dedicated professionals and operates with the philosophy of interdisciplinary respect and cooperation in order to provide a continuum of care from the time of injury/onset throughout the life of the individual.
The West Roxbury campus program serves to coordinate consistent coordinated care of services, as the hub within the "Hub and Spokes" model of care for the region.
More information can be found at the Spinal Cord Injury website.
