Our Mission
Our mission is to help veterans with their emotional and mental health difficulties. We offer the highest quality of mental health care backed by cutting-edge research, and we provide training to the next generation of health care professionals.
Mental Health Services Available
Mental health outpatient treatment is available to veterans with any mental health concern, such as:
-alcohol and drug abuse
-post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
-depression or sadness
-anxiety
-schizophrenia or manic depressive illness
Outpatient mental health treatment may consist of
In addition, specialized programs are available for returning veterans and for women veterans.
Inpatient care is available for veterans in need of intensive treatment.
Our residential/transitional programs provide temporary housing to veterans while offering treatments for a wide range of mental health concerns including substance abuse, as well as vocational training.
Where We Are
Mental Health treatment is available at the Jamaica Plain, Brockton, and West Roxbury Campuses as well as at community based outpatient clinics (CBOC) located in Worcester, Lowell, Framingham and downtown Boston (Causeway Street). Veterans typically seek mental health treatment near their homes, however, veterans are welcome to seek treatment at any location.
